Programme Overview

Introduction

Best! Anak Penang (SIKBMPP) is a positive incentive by the Penang State Government to recognise youth who bring honour to the state through achievements in national and international academic and co-curricular competitions.

Objectives

  • Memberi galakan dan penghargaan kepada belia Pulau Pinang yang berjaya mengharumkan nama negeri di peringkat kebangsaan dan antarabangsa.

Target Group

  • Belia berumur 15 hingga 30 tahun who reside in Penang or are registered Penang voters.
  • Youth who achieve champion, runner-up, third place or another result considered by the SIKBMPP evaluation committee in eligible academic or co-curricular competitions.

Main Activities

  • Semakan syarat kelayakan dan kategori pertandingan.
  • Penyediaan bukti pencapaian serta dokumen sokongan.
  • Penyerahan permohonan kepada PYDC sebelum tarikh tutup.

Eligibility & Application Reference

  • Age limit: 15 to 30 years.
  • Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen and Penang resident or voter.
  • Open to individual or team participation at national or international level.
  • Academic and co-curricular competitions are considered; sporting competitions are not considered under this scheme.
  • National competitions require participation from at least five states and relevant recognition.
  • International competitions require participation from at least three countries and relevant recognition.
  • Applications for 2026 must be submitted by 31 December 2026.
  • All SIKBMPP committee decisions are final.
